Palliative care – quality life in hospitals

Czech Society of Palliative Medicine (Česká společnost paliativní medicíny) offers space for overall improvement of palliative medicine in Czech Republic.

Palliative care covers a wide range of issues. It includes cooperation of experts from many medical fields who communicate goals of care for terminally ill patients, nursery care issues that are specific in many aspects, and also the fields of psychology, social care, and spiritual and ethic issues.

Czech Society of Palliative Medicine has a great opportunity to improve conditions for palliative care implementation – through specialist trainings, care service structure and providing general education for citizens in respect of legal curative options and care for seriously ill patients.
